This is unbelievably cool. De L’Officiel magazine (think French fashion mag) has recently published their archives and now you (yes, you!) can read through the past editions starting from 1920!!! Well, the 2nd Annual Seattle Vintage Fashion Runway Show and Lecture just happened on December 4th as part of the Killer Diller Weekend, and here are some snaps of the gorgeous vintage clothes, circa 1920-1950, that were on display. If you’re a swing dancer, you’ll recognize some familiar faces strutting their stuff on the runway, and some of you may also know the mastermind behind the event, Lorraine O’Neal. I have absolutely no idea what inspired my friends Emelie & Rebecka to do this fabulous photo shoot, but it popped up on Facebook and I just can’t help but post it up here. I’m sure many of you know these fabulous swing dancing ladies from Sweden, but maybe you haven’t seen them as Marilyn Monroe and Audrey Hepburn? They might kill me, but they look so glamorous in their fifties getup, in that crazy Swedish scenery! Hopefully they’ll forgive me for posting it up here!

Kenneth Jay Lane earrings are simply amazing. These designer Art Deco drop-earrings are surrounded with round and baguette crystals. Opaque turquoise beads are framed with angled black enamel inlays and the turquoise is visible from both sides of these silver-plated earrings. For one reason or another I finally decided to start watching Gossip Girls and I must admit that it’s my new guilty pleasure. The wardrobe is fantastic!! Quick synopsis about the show from what I’ve seen so far: filthy rich high school kids (eventually college bound), teenage drama/angst, love triangles, and the most ridiculous wardrobes ever!
