The cost of being a well-dressed flapper – 1926

Great article I found on the Retronaut website about high-end fashion in the 20s. The cost of  $346 in 1926 is equivalent to $4,414 today!! Clara Bow is the model here.

    well, it is equivalent to around $4000 in todays money – so yes, you certainly could have!
