Seychelles Shoes at Endless.com
I wore a pair of Seychelles “In With The New” pumps last weekend at Goodnight Sweetheart in the UK, that I bought at ModCloth.com and I adore them! I’ve only danced a little in them (I was just strutting around in them while I was judging the contest), but Lady of Balboa, Kate Hedin told me she has the same pair, and does dance in them. I’ve since found out you can get them cheaper on Endless.com (which you might have heard me rant about before – I love Endless because it’s free shipping in the US, and free return shipping if they don’t fit). I own a few pairs of Seychelles heels now (I bought the gold and black “Lauren” pumps a few months ago). They do glamorous pumps and Mary Janes with a vintage edge, but modern appeal. Here’s a selection on Endless.com:

Betsey Johnson Shoes on Overstock
The other day I was looking all over the web for a winter coat () and while on I stumbled upon some gorgeous shoes. I’ve been having a secret love affair with Betsey for the past two year and I can’t seem to get her out of my head. Luckily, she’s pricey enough that I can only splurge on some of her goodies every once and a while.
Some shoes that tickle my fancy:

Top Picks: Anna Sui Spring 2008 RTW

A brief flashback to Anna Sui’s Spring 2008 ready-to-wear collection, since it was such a great moment. A 1940s silhouette with cinched waists and boxy shoulders, brought to short flirty skirts and dresses, pinafores and playsuits in bright colors and bold prints. And I love the strappy platform heels, worn with brightly colored socks – cute!
I normally hate it when designers sent cute retro designs down the runway, paired with mismatching hairstyles and makeup, but in this case the punky ‘dos were adorable and played up the fun attitude of the collection. Bobby soxers meet Harajuku girls…

Shoes on Amazon.com
So, you will have noticed the new banner in the sidebar, and this is what I’ve been procrastinating with the last week, what fun! I’ve set up my very own Amazon store, with all – well the name says it all really – the best of swing and vintage to be found on . It’s so fun, like curating your own collection. Anyway, the best thing though is the shoes! I mean, we all think of Amazon for books, CDs, DVDs, but I had no idea there were so many shoes!! There’s loads of styles, but for example, here’s some of my favorite granny heels:
Yeah, on Amazon! Who would of thought….

Cute Double Strap Scalloped Mary Janes at Plasticland
Check out these adorable cheapies: just $49.00! Not leather, so they might not be the best for swing dancing, but damn cute for strutting about in (and that makes them vegan shoes!). Website says “made of a slightly distressed (crinkly) black and taupe leather-look vinyl, they feature rounded toes, unique easy-to-use hook-on double straps, and thick stacked wood 2 1/2″ heels. Fit true to size, medium width.”
Get them here:
Actually, they have a bunch of cute shoes that Swing Fashionistas might like, all for less than $50:
