  1. This is cool! Nick and I did mass amounts of research when we did pinup pictures and we read somewhere that Gil Elvgren “photoshop” his models when painting to have a certain silhouette, or feature. I always wanted to see what he worked with!

  2. I know, right? A little more curves, a little less clothing, a little more volume for the hair, facial features a little more delicate. It’s so interesting to see the ideals of beauty and sex appeal of that period, played out in these comparisons.
