I love 1930s knitwear and this is such and interesting piece. The angled features on the top and bottom of the dress and the stripes to match. Sometimes I wish I was whippet thin!!
I was just enjoying a scan of your recent posts and to my delight came across this one of the dress that just arrived today..yes, I was the ebay winner. The whimsical design is as appealing in person as hoped, but what exceeds my expectations is the drappy feel of it. The dress has a certain body that makes it swish more than my other knitwear pieces from this period. Very interesting. Now, I just can’t wait to wear it…!
